Yesterday, ten of thousands of anti-government leaflets were dispensed in the town centres, shopping area, crowded areas and around cinemas in many cities and towns in Burma. It was organized by the group called Generation Wave, which is composed of many young people and 1988 generation students. It's logo is with thumb-up sign. That group emerged despite brutal suppression against any political activities in Myanmar.

လက္မေထာင္ထားသည့္ အမွတ္တံဆိပ္ပါ (၁) လက္မခြဲပတ္လည္အရြယ္ စာရြက္ငယ္ေလးမ်ားေပၚ၌ ‘စစ္အာဏာရွင္ စနစ္အဆံုးသတ္ႏွစ္ ၂၀၀၈’ ၊ ‘ဒီမိုကေရစီရမယ့္ႏွစ္ ၂၀၀၈’ ၊ ‘ ဆင္းရဲတြင္းက လြတ္မယ့္ႏွစ္ ၂၀၀၈’ ၊ ‘ဒုကၡတြင္းက လြတ္မယ့္ႏွစ္ ၂၀၀၈’ ဟု (၄) မ်ဳိး ေရးသားကာ ျဖန္႔ေ၀ျခင္းျဖစ္သည္။

18 illegal immigrants from Afghanistan and Burma have died after the truck smuggling them crashed in Turkey. The vehicle had been converted with compartments for hiding people in, so that news agencies are describing the modified vehicle as both a truck and a bus.

The driver appears to have lost control in Tekirdag, near the town of Malkara, about 60 miles West of Istanbul. The vehicle overturned. 23 passengers were injured and are reported to be hospitalised and in good condition.

These days, in Yangon, the biggest city and  former capital of Myanmar, security forces are everywhere for some reason. They stopped bus and search travellers, making annoying general public. Yangon residents said thier city has been like a war torn place. Tourist industry has been shut doww. Thousands of Burmese have been moving out of the country. In each family, at least 1-2 people are working in foreign countries after economy inside Burma is no longer favourable for normal people.
